Companies from all around the world are releasing products and services adapted for the Latvian language. And it's not just Apple and Microsoft products, but everyday devices such as mobile telephones, digital cameras, MP3 players, home media players, pocket organizers, car navigation systems and even the latest blockbuster films.
As I was preparing my latest column piece for Latvians Online I was pleasantly surprised just how much the Latvian language is now supported – not only with the latest gadgets and trend-setting devices, but with the latest bestsellers as well - whether it is a film, game or a book, translated into Latvian. And so the list began to grow and with new products being released nearly every other week I set up this Web page to capture the growing trend for Latvian friendly products and services.
I hope that this will also become a useful forum for users to discuss which products work well, what still isn’t quite up to scratch as well as to provide ideas and feedback for even better Latvian solutions in the future.
